Where is your energy vibration?


Every living thing is putting off an energy vibration. What kind of vibration are you putting out most often? Knowing where your energy vibration is can be very important for a lot of different reasons. What we put out into the world comes back to us so it is important that we are vibrating at a higher frequency. When we live in a constant state of low vibrations it can have an unwanted effect on our mental/emotional and physical state. We will experience illness and depression. Those who work with the Law Of Attraction (LOA) know that in order to manifest the things we desire we need to match the frequency of what it is we seek. You can not manifest peace and happiness when you live (and vibrate) in a state of sadness and chaos. Thoughts create energy. They do not discern if the thoughts are good or bad for us, they just put out the frequency that matches. Energy flows where attention goes. Whatever we focus on becomes most prominent in our experience. When we focus or pay attention to something we are actually aiming our energy like a laser pointer, zooming in on it. Every thing in our physical existence has been created first in the thought realm. Inventors first had to think of an idea before creating it. The first step was the thought which was followed by an emotion that the person had relating to the thought. Emotion creates another vibration, an even more powerful force! Having a strong emotion about a thought causes us to pull the thought into the physical realm. This is true not just with positive, higher frequencies but also with negative and lower frequencies. We are in fact creating our own reality by the frequency we are emitting. If we are living the majority of our lives focusing our energy on how horrible everything is for us, we are creating a life filled with horrible experiences. When two people experience the same thing they can have very different reactions. One could look at the situation and feel shame, sad or angry. The other person could look at it from a higher energy vibration and see the situation as a lesson to grow, improve and be grateful for having had this happen. One experience, two different reactions, two very different outcomes.

You can see that the lower chart numbers reflect emotional distress. The higher you raise your vibration, the closer you get to experiencing love, peace and even enlightenment. Although it may be difficult to maintain a vibrational match to enlightenment, it should be the goal for us to experience this level, even if it is fleeting.

Where do you think you spend the majority of your time on this chart? Are you someone who is always angry? Do you live in constant fear? Fear of failure, fear of not having enough money, fear of not being good enough? Then your energy frequency would stay pretty constant around 100. As you can see that is a fairly low vibration. People can move up and down the spectrum but what I want you to think about is where do you find yourself most of the time. This would be a good place to start. From that point you can start to see what you need to do to raise your vibration. Enlightenment is not a frequency that I believe most people will rise to, at least not spend much time in. I personally believe a great goal for most of us to reach is a vibration of LOVE. From there we can experience shifts to a higher frequency even if it is short lived and only attainable occasionally. I think that would be a great place to try to set our resting vibration.

So once we recognize where our vibration is, how can we work on raising it? There are a lot of ways we raise our vibration but I will go over a few simple ways for you to start.

1. Become aware of your thoughts. Because our thoughts create the experiences we have we must be mindful of what we are thinking. This will probably take some effort. As you become aware that you are responding to circumstances by becoming angry or sad you need to shift your responses/thoughts to a higher frequency of acceptance/gratitude. I know this is easier said than done. With practice though, this can have a huge impact on our lives. Start practicing gratitude. You can write in a journal. Just by being aware of your thoughts, you will start to notice patterns which you can then address and change.

2. Exercise. Getting your blood pumping increases your vibration. It also releases endorphins which is the body's natural opioids to make a person feel happy.

3. Start a meditation practice. This can be very helpful because when we quiet the mind we can really get in touch with our higher self and expand our awareness. If you are not sure how to start meditating there are a lot of resources to get you started. I recommend beginning with guided meditations. From there you can get the hang of it and start to branch out and start to meditate for longer periods. If you are just starting, try to commit a few minutes each day and slowly add more time. A few minutes in the morning to start your day in the right frame of mind could jump start your day in the right direction. A few minutes before bed could help you show gratitude for everything that occurred, good or bad, and see them as lessons to be thankful for. *Need help learning how to meditate? 4. Drink more water. Water is so essential for our bodies. Being well hydrated is good for our physical self as well as all other functions.

5. Affirmations. I love affirmations. They can be used to help reprogram our mind to a more positive=higher vibration. They are so easy to use and anyone can benefit from them. Whenever you notice your mind thinking a way that you want to change, you can revert back to a positive affirmation to retrain the brain. I recommend you write them down and read them often. As you can see there are some really simple techniques to start raising your vibration. With a little practice you can shift into a higher frequency and start creating a life full of situations that bring you closer to peace and enlightenment. Most people believe we are human beings trying to have a spiritual experience. I personally believe we are spiritual beings here to have a human experience. Part of our human experience is to experience things that are not pleasant so we will often be forced into situations that lower our vibrations. That is part of being a human being. If your resting vibration is of a higher frequency then it will be easier for you to quickly raise back up after experiencing a set back.

I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't mention another way of raising your vibration. As a Reiki Master Teacher I help people raise their vibration through energy work.
